Grand Central Freeze

I just saw the coolest sceneorganised by a group who calls themselves “Improv Everywhere”. Basically their modus-operandi is to cause scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.

Below is one of their latest scene where a group of nearly 200 ppl just froze in the middle of Grand Central Station. The scene was so bizarre to the people around there. I find it very cool and entertaining but I guess there might be some out there who would find it a nuisance. Anyway have a look at the video below and judge for yourself

I wonder if I could organise something similar in KL. Would I be arrested for public disturbance? If anyone wanna try something like this (maybe in KL Sentral), feel free to leave a message and lets see how we can arrange something. Maybe not this in particular but some of their other missions.

Monopoly Here & Now: World Edition

When I was younger I use to play monopoly quite often with my bro and mom.  The boardgame has been around for around 72 years but the fundamental concept of the game has not changed – buy, rent and trade properties with the final goal of dominating the market. The only thing that has changed over the years are the location of the properties from the original, Atlantic City to London to even a Transformer version.

Anyway I love this game but haven’t played in a long time and recently I read that there is a new version that they are going to launch soon – a World Edition where the location are cities of the world. Even KL is included in the list but to ensure that it is part of the game, it needs to be voted in. So please do vote. I’ve voted and will continue voting till the closing date of 29 Feb 2008.
