Amanda msged me one day and said I should watch this movie. Nvr actually heard of this show before but since she recommended I decided to watch it. Its turns out to be a musical that is inspired by the music of one of the greatess bands ever – THE BEATLES.
Anyway the story tells of a young brit from Liverpool called Jude who travels to the US to find his father. There begins the journey of Jude (Jim Sturgess) who finds love in the form of Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood). With the music of The Beatles and the Vietnam War as the backdrop, the story really is able to potray the people of the 60’s when it was all about anti-war protest, the struggle for free speech and civil rights, mind exploration and rock and roll.
I love this show and the characters are so interesting and the music works… Anyway if you are a fan of musicals and The Beatles, you should watch this.
